Independent guide: JailInmateSearches.org is not the Parker County Sheriff’s Office, Parker County Jail, LaSalle Corrections, Tyler Technologies, Texas IVSS-Counties, TDCJ, a Texas court, BOP or ICE. Custody, bond, release, housing and visitation can change. Verify current information with the responsible official source before travelling, mailing, paying or making an important decision. An arrest, booking, charge, bond entry or booking photo does not establish guilt or conviction.

Fast Answer

Use the Parker County Sheriff’s Jail Search page for current Parker County Jail records. The Sheriff links to a Tyler Technologies public portal and says you need the first and last name the person was booked under. The search uses the legal name; an asterisk can be used as a wildcard, but the first initial still must be entered.

If the search still fails, call the booking desk at 817-594-4208. The Sheriff also states that the newer system no longer provides the former date-based search option, so a “today’s bookings” or date-range request may require a written open-records request instead.

Which Parker County Search Source Should You Use?

This helper does not search the Sheriff, jail, court, TDCJ, IVSS, BOP or ICE databases. It only routes you to the correct official source.

Select a task above

The appropriate official source will appear here.

  1. Open the Sheriff’s Jail Search page. Use the Parker County Sheriff’s official page rather than a commercial inmate directory.
  2. Follow the link to the jail-records portal. The Sheriff currently links to Parker County’s Tyler Technologies Public Access system.
  3. Enter the legal booked name. The Sheriff says the system requires the first and last name the person was booked under.
  4. Use the wildcard carefully. An asterisk can be used as a wildcard, but the first initial still must be placed in the field.
  5. Match the correct record. Compare available booking, charge, bond or case details with information you already know; do not identify someone by a photo alone.
  6. Call if the portal still does not resolve the question. The Sheriff directs users with search trouble to the booking desk at 817-594-4208.
Portal issue: if the Tyler portal does not load or you cannot locate a known recent booking, return to the Sheriff’s Jail Search page and use the booking-desk number rather than repeatedly guessing names.

Can You Search Today’s or Yesterday’s Parker County Bookings by Date?

The Sheriff says its newer Judicial/Records Management software does not have the former date-search option. That means the current person-search portal should not be treated as a complete “today’s arrests” feed.

If You Know the Person’s Name

Use the jail search with the legal first and last name. If necessary, use the supported wildcard rule described by the Sheriff.

If You Need Everyone Booked During a Period

Submit a written Texas Public Information Act request for a booking or jail-intake log covering the exact date and time range you need. The Sheriff does not accept open-records requests by phone.

Write a precise request: identify the start and end date/time and ask only for fields you actually need, such as booked name, booking identifier, booking date/time, arresting agency, charges, bond and release/custody status to the extent those fields are maintained and publicly releasable.

Jail Search, Court Records and TDCJ Are Different Systems

Source Best use Do not treat it as
Parker County jail records Current county-jail custody, booking-related information and available bond/charge fields. A final court disposition or statewide prison record.
Parker County Judicial Records Criminal case records, docket information, hearings and court status. A guaranteed live jail-housing source.
Texas IVSS-Counties County custody and court-event notifications where integrated. An emergency safety system or a substitute for the jail/court record.
TDCJ Offender Search Texas state-prison incarceration, supervision and related offender information. A Parker County Jail roster.
BOP Inmate Locator Federal Bureau of Prisons custody from 1982 to the present. County jail, TDCJ or every federal pretrial situation.
ICE ODLS ICE detention and certain CBP custody lasting more than 48 hours. County criminal custody or Texas state-prison custody.

How to Avoid Matching the Wrong Person

Use the Booked Legal Name

The Sheriff specifically says the current search uses the first and last name under which the person was booked. A nickname can produce a false no-result.

Copy Official Identifiers

If the jail or court portal provides a booking, jail or case number, copy it exactly for follow-up with the jail, court, mail or account provider.

Separate Booking From Disposition

A booking charge can later be amended, reduced, dismissed or resolved differently. Use the court record for the case outcome.

Arrest is not conviction: a jail entry, charge, bond amount or booking image records an allegation or custody event; it does not establish guilt or final disposition.

What to Do When the Parker County Jail Search Shows No Result

  1. Recheck the legal spelling. Try the booked legal name instead of a nickname.
  2. Use the Sheriff’s wildcard rule. The first initial is still required when using an asterisk.
  3. Confirm Parker County, Texas. Similar county names or a neighboring-county arrest can lead to the wrong search system.
  4. Allow for intake or data changes. Very recent booking, transfer or release activity may not match what you expected to see online.
  5. Call the booking desk. Use 817-594-4208 when the portal does not answer a current local-custody question.
  6. Check TDCJ if a state transfer is possible. State-prison custody belongs in the TDCJ search, not the county jail portal.
  7. Check BOP or ICE only when genuinely relevant. Those are separate federal custody systems.
  8. Check the court docket. A case record can help confirm jurisdiction and case status even when current housing is unclear.
No result does not prove release. It can also reflect a name mismatch, intake timing, transfer, another county, TDCJ custody, federal custody, immigration detention or a record that is not publicly displayed.

The Sheriff’s current visitation page links to a visitation schedule PDF and publishes general visit rules. The linked schedule itself should be checked immediately before travel because housing assignments and schedules can change.

Published Sheriff rule Practical meaning
Minimum visit is 20 minutes, in person and non-contact. Do not expect a contact visit unless the facility expressly authorizes something different.
All inmates receive two visits per week. Availability can still depend on the current schedule and housing status.

Phone Scam Precaution

If an unexpected caller claims to be an inmate and you do not recognize the person, do not enter codes or send money based only on the call. Verify the person and facility through the official jail search or jail staff first.

Texas IVSS-Counties Notifications

Texas moved county victim-notification services from the former VINE workflow to Texas IVSS-Counties in 2025. As of September 1, 2026, program management transferred from the Texas Attorney General to the Office of the Governor, while the notification service continues.

What IVSS-Counties Can Do

The service provides participating-county custody and court-status notifications and allows users to register for updates. Texas materials describe options for phone, text and email notifications.

When to Use TDCJ Instead of Parker County Jail

Use the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Offender Search when the person is in Texas state-prison custody or appears in TDCJ supervision records. Do not use the state system as a substitute for a recent Parker County arrest.

How to Request Parker County Sheriff Records

If you need a booking list by date, an offense report or another releasable Sheriff record that is not available through the live portal, use the Sheriff’s written Public Information Act procedure.

Parker County Sheriff’s Office Attn: April Little 129 Hogle Street Weatherford, TX 76086 Email: april.little@parkercountytx.com Fax: 817-594-7809
  • The Sheriff says open-records requests are not accepted by phone; they must be in writing.
  • Describe the requested record with enough detail for staff to identify and locate it.
  • If estimated charges exceed $40, the office says the requester is entitled to a written itemized estimate before work begins.
  • A “10 business days” provision on the Sheriff page should not be read as a promise that every record will be produced within 10 business days; different deadlines apply to notices, cost estimates and Attorney General rulings.
